The mission builds on the diplomatic reset launched by Prime Minister Carney and Prime Minister Modi at the G7 Summit in Kananaskis and reinforced by Prime Minister Carney's subsequent visit to India. It brings together a delegation of Canadian companies across six priority sectors to expand commercial ties with India as both governments work toward concluding a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) by the end of 2026.
